Notice of Public Hearing
The City of Caldwell will hold a public workshop regarding proposed amendments to the Subdivision Ordinance and Infrastructure Design Guidelines and Standards for development in Caldwell. The Caldwell City Council workshop will take place on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 6:30 PM at the Caldwell Civic and Visitor Center 103 TX-21 W, Caldwell, Texas 77836, following the regularly scheduled City Council meeting.
The purpose of this workshop is to present the proposed changes to the Subdivision Ordinance and Infrastructure Design Guidelines and Standards and to provide an overview of how the new development process will function. As a "Type A, General Law" municipality, Caldwell is limited by state law and cannot adopt regulations more stringent than those required by the state. Although public input is not mandated under state law for subdivision regulations, this workshop is intended to give the public an opportunity to understand the proposed amendments and ask questions.
We encourage citizens to attend, listen to the presentation, and share any concerns or suggestions about the proposed updates.
A copy of the amended Subdivision Ordinance and Infrastructure Design Guidelines and Standards is available for review on the City of Caldwell website: https://caldwelltx.gov/subdivision.
